Use a Potion from Items
Have the potion in your inventory, then:
- Open Inventory or Items and select Potions. Use the Search box if needed.
- Select the potion to open its description and controls on the right.
- Set the use quantity to 1x and press Use. This consumes one bottle.
- Look for the Used notification. For a timed Luck Potion, check its status icon and countdown in the lower-right corner.
Boss Potion also uses Items → Potions → Use and confirms successful activation with Used Boss Potion.
Choose the Tier and Time the Weather Window
- For a long rolling session, favor Luck Potion IV. Its 60-minute base duration and +10 flat luck plus +20% luck make it the strongest individual luck boost among tiers I–IV.
- For a shorter session, use a tier that fits your available time and inventory. Tier III provides a 30-minute window with both flat and percentage luck; tiers I and II provide shorter flat-luck boosts.
- For faster rolling, consider Speed Potion III. Its benefit is roll speed. The rolling and auto-roll guide covers the controls for keeping your draws running.
You can use Luck Potions I, II, III, and IV consecutively in the same session, consuming one bottle of each at 1x.
To time your potions around weather:
- Settle on the weather you want to keep before using your Luck Potions.
- Activate the potion tiers you plan to use.
- Continue rolling while the potion and weather timers overlap.
Doodle is a useful pairing: it provides 4x Luck and 1.5x Rollspeed, and you can use Luck Potions III and IV during that window. Compare weather bonuses and reroll choices before committing your bottles.
Find Potion Rewards and the Crafting Menu
Collect potion rewards
- Tutorial: Sensei grants 2 Luck Potion I bottles after the tutorial victory, before the Teleport instruction at step 7/12.
- Quests: Press Claim Rewards! for a completed stage or Claim All for multiple completed quests. Tower Veteran, stage 14 of The Journey, asks you to reach Infinite Tower floor 20 and includes two green potion bottles among its rewards.
- Card collection: Open INDEX! and check the collection rewards for Eternal Luck Potion I.
Use the quest and Journey reference to find objectives and progression requirements.
Open the potion crafting list
- Go to the Blacksmith stall to the left of the central fountain.
- Press E: Talk to open the Master Craftsman dialogue, then choose Ok.
- Switch from Charms to Potions.
- Scroll through the list and hover over entries to read their effects and unlock requirements.
If an entry displays a lock requiring Quest 13 of The Journey, complete that quest to unlock that entry.
